Debate Verdict: Debate is a text-only debate app where users can post debates, choose For, Against, or Neutral, follow topics, write answers, comment, reply, chat, and participate in community discussions. This page explains how to delete your account if you no longer want to use the service.


How to delete your account

To delete your Debate Verdict: Debate account, you must be logged in. Follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Click your Profile icon, usually at the top right of the website or app.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. In User Settings, open Profile Update.

    After login, this is usually available from the user settings page.

  5. On the Profile Update page, scroll to the bottom until you see the Account Deletion section.
  6. Click the red DELETE ACCOUNT button.
  7. Confirm the deletion request if the app asks you to confirm.

What account deletion means

When your account is deleted, your profile access is removed and your account will no longer be available for normal use. Some limited records may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or safety reasons.

Content connected to public debate activity, such as debates, answers, comments, replies, or moderation-related records, may be handled according to our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Community Guidelines.


Can’t log in?

If you cannot access your account, for example because you lost access to your email or password, you can request deletion by contacting us from your registered email address:

Email: debateverdict@gmail.com

Include your username and the email you used to sign up. Use the subject line: “Delete Account Request”.
